2024 USA Today’s Best Financial Advisory Firms: This annual ranking published in April 2024 was based on the growth of the companies’ assets under management (AUM) over the short and long term and the number of recommendations they received from clients and peers. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking. The ranking was tabulated by market research firm Statista to rank the top 500 RIA firms.
2024 Accounting Today Billion-Dollar Wealth Magnet: This annual ranking published in June 2024 includes the top CPA financial planners that have a wealth management/financial planning practice based on assets under management as of December 31, 2023. At minimum, one of the advisors must be a licensed CPA in the practice. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking. Please review detailed report here.
2024 Barron’s Top 100 Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Firms: This annual ranking published in September 2024 weighed numerous factors in the rankings including technology spending, staff diversity, and succession planning. Advisors who wish to be ranked fill out a 102 question survey about their practice. Barron’s verifies the data of the advisory firms and with regulatory databases to apply rankings formula to the data to generate the ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: 1) assets, 2) revenue, and 3) quality of practice. In each of those categories, Barron’s conducts multiple subcalculations. 2024 Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine RIA Ranking: The 2024 list, published in July 2024, includes more than 431 RIAs from across the nation and is based on a survey of the firms’ discretionary and nondiscretionary assets under management (AUM), as reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with the firm’s ADV filing as of March 31, 2024. Detailed criteria for ranking is not disclosed. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2023 Financial Planning RIA Leaders Top 20 Firms: The criteria for this award only included firms that specifically provide financial planning services to retail clients on a fee-only basis. Firms were required to serve at least 50 percent individual or high-net-worth clients, and could not take commissions or retain broker-dealer affiliations. Rankings are based on the number of investment adviser representatives listed on SEC Form ADV as of July 1, 2023. COMPLY gathered the data from the SEC’s public database. The ranking was published in October 2023. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2023 Forbes’ Top RIA Firms: The Top RIA Firms list published in October 2023 includes 50 RIA firms that have been ranked by SHOOK Research. To be considered, advisors must have a minimum of seven years of experience; other factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and their approach to working with clients were also considered. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK received a fee in exchange for rankings.
2023 InvestmentNews Top 20 Firms in the Nation: The list published in August 2023 is based on total AUM as of December 31, 2023. To qualify for the list, firms must provide financial planning services, have at least $100 million in AUM, provided investment advisory services to clients during the most recent fiscal year, not be actively engaged in business as a broker-dealer, and not receive commissions, among other criteria. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2024 RIA Channel® Top 50 Wealth Managers: RIA Database uses quantitative and qualitative criteria to create the rankings. Published in May 2024, RIA Channel ranked the Top 50 RIA firms of 2024 based on growth in assets as of March 31, 2024, as reported to the SEC. RIA Database (RIADatabase.com) was used for regulatory data. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2024 Inc. 5000: This annual ranking was published in August 2024. The 2024 Inc. 5000 companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020, be based in the U.S., and be privately held, for-profit, and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies) as of December 31, 2023. The minimum revenue required for 2020 was $100,000 and the minimum for 2023 was $2 million. Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places. Savant paid an entry fee to be considered for this ranking.
